Milan was our initial stop (initiating a sleepless arrival from the West coast of the US) and our departure city. We stayed a total of one day, so only were able to spend a quick afternoon visiting the external of the Duomo and visit the inspiring Galleria. As much as we would have loved to shop Versace, Gucci, and Prada, alas our tiny budget would not allow for such luxuries. We did enjoy the people watching, street performers, and general air of conviviality of this bustling modern city.
